.VI Domain Name Registration Fees
The following fees apply to the registration, renewal, transfer, and maintenance of domain names within the the VI country code top-level domain is administered by the VI REGISTRY, operated by Virgin Islands Public Telecommunications System, Inc. (VIPTS) through NIC.VI.
Local Registrations
Applicants who are residents of the United States Virgin Islands or business entities legally organized or registered in the United States Virgin Islands may register eligible .VI domain names for:
- US $75.00 for the initial registration, which includes the first year of registration.
- US $50.00 for each annual renewal thereafter.
Premium Domain Names are excluded from this pricing.

International Registrations
.co.vi, .com.vi, .net.vi and .org.vi
Applicants who do not qualify as local registrants may register domain names within these second-level domains for:
- US $200.00 for the initial registration, which includes the first year of registration.
- US $75.00 for each annual renewal thereafter.
.VI Registrations
Non-resident applicants may register directly within the .VI top-level domain for:
- US $300.00 for the initial registration, which includes the first year of registration.
- US $150.00 for each annual renewal thereafter.
Applicants are not required to register through an agent unless otherwise required by the VI REGISTRY.
Administrative Assistance Fees
Registrants may update and manage their Domain Name records using the VI REGISTRY’s online management tools or other approved self-service methods.
Where a registrant requests the VI REGISTRY to perform an administrative change on its behalf, the following service fees apply:

There is no charge for:
- Changes made directly by the registrant using the VI REGISTRY’s self-service tools.
- Updates to the registrant’s mailing address, telephone number, email address, or billing contact information.
- Voluntary deletion of a Domain Name registration.
Transfers
Transfers of a Domain Name from one registrant to another, without deletion of the Domain Name, are subject to a transfer fee equal to the then-current new registration fee applicable to that Domain Name.

Electronic credit card payments are normally processed within two (2) business days.
Please include the applicable Domain Name(s), invoice number, or account reference with all payments to ensure prompt and accurate processing.
Changes to Fees
The VI REGISTRY reserves the right to amend this fee schedule from time to time. Revised fees shall apply to registrations, renewals, transfers, restorations, and other services requested on or after the published effective date of the revised fee schedule unless otherwise specified.
